Rachel Lu

Whatever you want to sing, Rachel firmly believes in getting your foundation techniques right before you want to sing anything or even everything. She's been hustling in this sunny island for the past 7 years or so, starting out in little bars with an acoustic set up, singing pop songs to currently roaring and belting with Caracal or the Rock Rosettes on stages big or small. Her experience shapes the way she will be teaching you, be it crooning melodious soul tunes to screaming guttural menacing sounds, in a safe way of course.

In late 2017, Rachel joined Singapore's beloved post-hardcore band Caracal as front-woman and together performed at the 2018 Baybeats Festival as well as the Ignite Music Festival with the release of their new EP "Take it Apart and Put it Back Together". She has also been fronting the Rock Rosettes since 2015, playing at various events and establishments from Clarke Quay to Boat Quay.

Rachel also has a Trinity Rock & Pop Vocal Grade 8 cert although she thinks it’s not absolutely necessary for singing.
